Description of Ivy Connection Officers
Elections will be held May 31st 2008, 10:00am at the Whole Foods Downtown (upstairs outdoor plaza)
Everyone is welcome to come and run for a position, it's a fabulous way to instantly get plugged in to everything the Ivy Connection is doing! We do ask that you be a dues paying member. (Don't worry! The current Treasurer will be present to take dues, or you can pay online right now! It's only $25 to Join)
Even if you're not interested in an officer position come by and vote for your next board of Ivy Connection Officers!

President
Presides at all meetings of the chapter and executive board
Communicates with the Executive Office and Regional Alumnae Coordinator
Completes all forms as requested by International
Coordinates the annual review and update of the bylaws
Vice President Membership
Shall assume the duties of the president and preside at meetings and events in her absence
Focuses on recruitment, retention, and recognition of members
Coordinates Alumnae Initiate program
Coordinates Sister Updates
Vice President Programming
Helps to ensure that functions are diverse
Develops activiies calendar with the Executive Board
Helps coordinate ceremonial programs such as Senior Ceremony and Founder's Day Ceremony
Vice President Marketing
Maintains and updates chapter website by providing copy and photos
Designs and publishes all chapter coorespondence, newsletters, event emails and Evites
Sends information to the quarterly via the Director of Marketing at the Executive Office
Secretary
Attends to all correspondence
Keeps a written record of all proceedings of the chapter and Executive Board
Keeps a list of names and addresses of the membership and coordinates with Executive Office
Treasurer
Collects all local dues and money due the chapter, and dispenses funds as chapter directs
Prepares and annual budget
Sends a list of dues paying members to the Executive Office
Collegiate Liaison
Takes care of personal references for recruitment
Promotes involvement with Omega collegiates, and coordinates events with their Executive Board
Informs alumnae membership of current recruitment policies and rules
Panhellenic Delegate
Represents the Fraternity at all Alumnae Panhellenic meetings
Submits written or oral reports at chapter meetings as necessary
Represents both the Ivy Connection and Traditional Group
Fundraising Chair
Directs fundraising activities of the chapters and recruits committee members
Coordinates at least one activity per year in direct support of the Alpha Phi Foundation
Philanthropy Chair
Organizes attendance at local philanthropy events such as charity walks
Assists Fundraising Chair with annual Philanthropy Event
May organize additional philanthropy events and recruit committee members
